Lower back left LEG pain?

Pain in left leg and when stepping on it pain in my back?

  • In December I fell down my stairs. It has been four months since then and the pain was easing down. The physical therapy is going well. My back and neck and right shoulder were hurt during the incident. I have seen the orthopedic and went to the hospital. I did not fracture or break or crack a thing. Nevertheless, lately the pain has come back as strong as when it happened. The neck pain was gone after the first week and now is back. Also my back has been hurting so bad, I nearly wanna cry. The pain is in my lower and middle back. Also I have pain in my spinal cord. When I step with my left leg pain shoots through my back. A sharp pain. Also when I walk now pain shoots down my left leg. Does anyone know what could be wrong? I am going to the orthopedic on the twenty fifth of April. I am hoping I can get a MRI and get some answers.

  • Answer:

You probably have some unrecorded nerve damage. Ask you doctor, or find a new one [a better one] to help spot the issue. You may need to get a CT or EMG scan. Spinal pain is a very major issue.
