What are some two years college majors?

Do students who spend two years at a community college before transferring find it harder to pass the CPA exam?

• Hello, I'm a pretty good high school student, but I may be forced to go to a community college for two years then transfer to a four year university because of financial reasons. I will also need to go to graduate school for a year after that so i can qualify to take the cpa exam. I'm worried that, since community college education is not as good as a 4 year college's education, I may have trouble passing the CPA exam in the future. Do community college accountant majors usually find it hard to pass the CPA exam in the future? Or will it make no difference? what are the statistics? Thanks!!

  The beauty of an exam like the CPA exam is that: it is anonymous. The first question on the exam will not be: So, Test Taker, where did you go to school for your freshman and sophomore years? I've taught junior college and I can tell you that the students who intended to get into 4-year institutions were super-motivated and always in the top 30 percent (and that is a conservative estimate). The only bit of advice I would give you is that while you're in JC, maximize your participation in classes and in extracurricular activities. Make it a "full" experience. You will enjoy it more and 4 year institutions look favorably upon it.
