Should I be scared of flying for the first time ever?

First time flying and scared to death!!!?

  • I'm 43 years old and flying for the very first time ever! I know u can't use cell phones on planes but I have airplane mode on my phone. If I have airplane mode on can I still listen to my music I have on my phone? And any suggestions for a first time flyer who is scared to death? Lol

When I travel they always say to switch everything eletronic , but here in Europe , and for travelling yo can buy they are called travelling tablets and you will be fine or ask your doctor , good luck and bon voyage :) it is fun to travel make courage :) by the way I also hate the plane thing but when you arrive to the destination it is nice :)

Yeah you can still listen to the music if you have it on flight mode. My recommendation for your anxiety? Go to the doctor, explain your fears and score some happy pills. It'll make the trip a breeze : D

Airplane mode is only for calls maa'm, and it does not effects any other application in your phone, except communicating applications

Why are you scared and what are you scared of? It is hard to answer your question without knowing details. Is it the flight itself, navigating through the airport, arrival in an unknown city? Who knows. By the way, flying is the safest form of transportation. The most dangerous part of the trip will be driving to the airport, and yet you probably get in a car every day without even thinking about it. Good luck on your flight; just relax and enjoy it. Yes, you can listen to your music once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet; the flight attendant or pilot will make an announcement when you can use electronic devices.
