Canada International Student - BS Nursing -Which one should I choose?
-
I have applied to: Cape Breton University (Sydney, NS) Memorial University of Newfoundland (St. John, NL) University of New Brunswick (Saint John's, NB) University of Lethbridge (Lethbridge, AB) Mount Royal University (Calgary, AB) University of Prince Edward Island (Charlottetown, PEI) So, I have already been admitted to UofL and CBU. I believe that UPEI won't review my file cause I missed the deadline for one day. I need to know which university would be best for me. I'm an international student, and I'm transferring from the US to continue with my second bachelor, Bachelor of Science in Nursing. I wont have a car, so I will be relying on Public Transportation. I've got a lot saved but, I must work while I study, where can I find a job easily? Like as soon as i get there. Does it snow a lot, I mean does the weather will make it difficult for me to get to work or school and the clinic placements? Cause Ill be taking the bus. Is there enough people to socialize and have fun with, lol, I'm used to big cities, Ive lived in Lima, Peru, Los Angeles and Houston. Which one wont be a big difference? Which one has the best Nursing Program? Will I be able to go to Clinic Placements easily, given the fact that I wont have a car? and I would like to go to beach some weekends..haha.. most Importantly, the public transportation, job, and Nursing Program reputation. Please tell me everything you know about these schools!! I would really appreciate your answers! Thanks!!!!!! :D :D

Answer:
I would recommend either Cape Breton University or Mount Royal. Mount Royal is right in the city with numerous bus routes available to you, though housing is much more expensive. Cape Breton University is locale in the small beautiful town of Sydney where there is a bus route to the university, but everything is in walking distance, so it may not benecessary. As far as who has the better Nursing program i woul have to go with Mount Royal.

None of those are in big cities. Most of them are no where near the beach. If you are there on a student visa the hours that you can work will be limited and you may be restricted to on campus jobs.
