Why are tattoos so addictive?

Why do some people think tattoos on women mean they are "white trash" or a "slut" ?

  • I have been reading a few answers on here about what people think about women with tattoos and it absolutely disgusts me at how many bias stereotypical answers there are!! I have seen some ppl say that if you have tattoos you will have a hard time finding a boyfriend I have a hallf sleeve tattoo that goes on my collar bone slightly and a tattoo on my foot. I spent a lot of money with a great artist and my tattoo is completely unique and hand drawn. I am not white trash or a slut or dirty. I come from a wealthy family and wear nice clean clothes I get my hair done and my nails done and always try to make myself look pretty and natural I don't wear goth makeup. I dress classy not slutty. I have a good paying job, I have graduates high school and went to post secondary, I have a husband and own my own house and have my own business. I have a husband and a daughter who is 3 months old. I am not worried about what my tattoo will look like when I'm 60 because when I'm 60 no matter what color my skin is It is going to be saggy and wrinkly. What about all the women who have nasty stretch marks from having kids. Should we say WHy do they have kids when they know what their skin will look like after ? And to those of you that say tattoos aren't classy and women with tattoos can't be classy F U. I am very classy, I could outdress outclass, out beauty any of you ugly haters! Tattoos are beautiful! Not all tattoos but some are works of ART!

    It's a leftover standard from the Puritanical Era. Christians think tattoos are like putting graffiti on God's already perfect work. Cleopatra was a slut...and the Queen of Egypt during the Roman Empire. I'd rather be a slut than worry about what stuck up people think.

Tattoos are disgusting, specially when you age and put on weight. I base my opinion on people with tattoos as old as me and visible to everybody, I saw a female nearly my age with full legs covered. Not a pretty sight!

Some tattoos are classy, yes. And it is about how you feel about yourself. Personally I do not like any modification on my body. People with tattoo's need to realize that not all people share the urge to ink themselves. It is my opinion. You can do what you want with your body, but don't expect others to like you for it.

Have you ever had the misfortune to watch the Jeremy Kyle show. Illiterate chavs no teeth but many tattoos. How many surgeons or scientists do you see with tats......none.

I like my untatooed body but I wouldn't mind a small rose or something meaningful but I wouldn't get it to show off but I'd get it if I had a calling to have something memorable n meaningful on my ody permanently......I think ppl say it's classless cos most ppl get them because they want one instead of getting tasteful well thought out tats that actually mean something to them.
