How to uninstall Yahoo Messenger from a Mac OS X?
-
I am receiving unwanted Yahoo Messenger messages. They pop up in a green box. They are from people I do not know and do not WANT to know. I do not use Yahoo messenger. If I'm going to message, I will use ichat. I don't use icha, either. At least it's not intrusive. I can not find the Yahoo Messenger application. I come up with the entire Yahoo folder but can't open it to drag Yahoo Messenger to the trash. I like Yahoo and want to stay with it but I find these unwanted solicitations annoying. I own Yahoo stock that I should have sold long ago.

Answer:
Use the Finder to get YM so you can drag it into the trash. it should be findable in your Applications. In the meantime, at the left side of your email page , click OFFLINE next to Messenger.
