When does job corps accept people for cna training?

Why can I still not find a job..?

  • Iv been applying for jobs constantly for the last 3 years and the only people that have gotten back to me and called me for interview where agencies. When I went to the interviews I found out that they where commission only and I would have to find my own way to what ever part of the country they sent me to, to stand on the street from 9am to 9pm trying to get people to sign up to company's. I don't even drive and getting to these places and back everyday would be impossible as I don't have the money to pay for transportation in the first place and then I more than likely wouldn't even get any wages. I have a degree in fine art but because the grant is gone I cant go on to do 4th year so I can go on to do teacher training. To do 4th year I need to start saving but I cant find a job for the life of me and I really don't want to go on the dole. I found a perfect job in a photography place in my town, they where looking for someone interested in photography which was my chosen disciplinary in college, I love photography, I literally bring my camera with me every time I leave the house. someone with experience and likes working with children.. I did work experience in a primary school and after my work experience they kept me on to help out when I was home from college at Easter and summer, there's a new principle in the school now so they don't contact me anymore but I loved working there and I always wanted to work with kids. They also wanted someone whose worked in retail, every christmas when I was in college I got a job in Dunnes, or markes and Spencer's or Penny's so I have so much experience in this. Iv studied photography for 3 years I have all the experience they asked for an more, im flexible and can work whenever they want. I applied for the job the very day they advertised it and they never got back to me.. If I cant even get an interview for a job that im fully qualified for , have all the experience they need and genuinely would love love love to work there. I mean to work in photography which I love and to work with kids which I always wanted to do would be the perfect job for me. I didn't even get an interview.. nothing!!!! Maybe they hired someone from there family or a close friend who's kid needed a job which just proves that its not what you know but who know but im so annoyed. Iv been looking for so long for a job, I finally find something that im fully qualified for would be perfect for and I get the same out come as if I applied for a job I had no interest in at all. Im getting to fed up of this. Im finding more and more bars, hotels and restaurants wont even accept a cv unless you'v a minimum amount of experience and I have none. Shops aren't taking CV's or they just throw them in the bin when you hand them in. How do they expect to get the economy back up if they wont even give people jobs. At this stage I will work for under minimum wage. I dont care. Im so fed up. I need a ******* job!!!

  • Answer:

You cannot get a job due to the recession it is that simple, you and over 440,000 people including my partner who has been unemployed since he was made redundant in 2009. It is some comfort that you at least don't have a mortgage & other debts. Sign on the dole if you are entitled to it for goodness sake, why wouldn't you? You don't say how old you are but you must be around 22 so that is €100 at least a week that you are entitled to if you are genuiniely seeking employment. Things will pick up eventually, this recession will ease but right now our Govt is not creating incentives for employers to hire new staff, in fact the changes to the redundancy laws mean employers are probably less likely to hire new staff. Madness. Have you looked abroad to Australia & Canada for employment?

Awful leadership for decades selling out to both the EEC/EC/EU and to globalisation and neo-liberal Thatcherite nonsense which ultimately meant the exporting of real native jobs from the English speaking world to Asia etc AKA "outsourcing". . Now the EU is demanding that more and more money is taken out of circulation in the name of "austerity". Consider BTW that you are part of at least the second generation done over by such ill-conceived policies over the decades. What they never tell you is that in the 70s people with even only primary school could go from job to job from week to week, but by the early 80s there was mass unemployment just like now! Unless people for example stop caring more about "negative equity" (face it , if you're in it, you're in it) than they do just about everything else, which sadly is how a big swathe of the population are, and start telling the EU servants in public office ( which is all the F ranco G erman /Slaver government are) we'd had enough auld "austerity" tripe, from the "Troika", forget about change IMO.

Yes. These College Degrees are worthless. Still now you can help others avoid this. Why not do voluntary work initially. That will lead to a job. Very simple.

You will have to emigrate I'm afraid. Every second Irish person will. You might even be able to finish your degree in Australia and get an extra visa year. Ireland is staying this way for at least the next 20 years. There's too much debt and not enough income.

Because you don't matter to the real rulers, in fact you are a mere "goyim" put on earth to be their slave/cash cow. It's the same the world over, since they control most the world, apart from the Muslim nations, which is why the war on terror is primarily a war on Islam. Here, the US is dying too. The real question is is this a downturn, or is this the final meltdown of the Zionist controlled West? The powers-that-be want to everybody to think the former, which makes it suspect.
