How to successfully edit a short film with photos and video together?
-
I have an assignment due in a few days and due to permissions/insurance issues I cannot shoot my pickup shots. I am going to take some photos on my slr and use a fast editing style to kind of hide the fact I am doing it; it's only a one minute film. Does anyone have any tips on how to make this look good? Or links to youtube/vimeo etc videos that have successfully done it? It is for a film school assignment by the way. Thank you! :)

Answer:
on your editing program, set the workspace to the format of the video you are using (the same ratio and frame rate) and then edit the photos to fit that workspace. either resize them in photoshop or just in the film editing program, if they don't match the video use filters or edit the contrast and brightness to make them fit in a bit more (: its ever so simple
