What are some ways for a pre-teen to raise money?

I've been invited to go to iPOP (International Presentation of Performers) to do some modeling and acting, but I need to come up with ALOT of money, in the next 7 weeks. Looking for some really great ideas.... anyone?

Ask your parents to match you dollar for dollar for every dollar you make. Do extra chores. Sell anything you don't want any more eg old toys, books and clothes.

How about baby sitting, and asking any elderly people in your community to allow you to do some chores around the house for some money, not only will you earn money, but it will build character, this I can guarantee. Cutting lawns always is a plus, unless you live in the thunderous winter states. Also there is a way to earn money online by answering polls, but your parents may have to help.
