Is office depot a good place to work?

Has anyone else had a problem with Office Depot delivery?

• I placed an order for a computer yesterday. I got the confirmation email that it would be delivered on the 19th (not the next day delivery that was mentioned when I ordered). anyway the confirmation form left off my apartment number although it is in my account info, they have "apt apt' instead apt and the number. I live in a very large complex of almost 400 units so I contacted them to make sure they had the apartment number. they said they could not add the apartmetn number as the order was unchangeable and that I was to refuse the order when it came and reorder. first of all, if they don't have my apt number I most likely won't get my order and if I get it, I don't have a problem and dont' need to refuse and reorder. Now my order is still in pending and I already have paid someone to come stay at my place tomorrow to recieve the order since I will be working. the money from the order has went back to my bank account for some reason and the order is pending. What can I do about this situation if they don't deliver tomorrow as I can't have it delivered friday as I have no one to stay home and I can't be off work. This is making me very angry and I think office depot should do something. the is no delivery fee as it is in the local area but still I don't think that is an excuse for poor service. I would cancel and order elsewhere but none of other stores have the sale or the rebate and I can't buy instore since I have no car

  We had an issue a few years ago with them. We ordered items and they were supposed to be delivered on a specific date. They were not and nobody was here to receive them. I called OD and they had farmed out the delivery service - so I had to call the delivery company. And call. And call. It took a bit of pestering but I got what I was supposed to when I was supposed to. I guess my advice is to keep hounding them until you get your computer.
