How do you stop people from harassing you?

How do I stop teenagers harassing me?

  • I'm not sure if "harassing" is the right word, but the local teenagers are giving me a hard time. If I'm outside where they can see me, they start calling me names like "clem the fem" "clementime", saying to other people "he's gay" and stuff like that, making rude gestures at me, throwing stuff at me, shining a laser pointer in my face and other things like that. I can't get away from it even in my own home, sometimes as soon as I walk out of my front door, they're there, harassing me again. When I'm in, they come up to my window and start. I've tried ignoring it, but they won't stop. What should I do? I'm not a kid, but I am a mature young adult and this kind of thing shouldn't happen to people like me.

You could: A. Talk to their parents. B. Talk to the police. C. Get it on video and use that as evidence for a restraining order.* Not sure why they'd pick on you in specific (as I don't know much of the situation), but largely ignoring them and just shrugging works. Hi There, You should take no notice about them and walk away. if they hassle more often. That only way to do it. I have done this before When I Was Kid At school just been picked on so I have Learned my lesson From My school Mate Help me out. And Dont Worried About them. So When I left School And New Job.It Take Few Years to learn about your problem To Slove It. But Im Sure You can do the same as me. I wish For You Good luck to you.......

Practice a small smile to be used when you see them. Small, no words They harass because it works, they stop when they see it doesn't. Carry a distraction with you, so you have an alternative to focusing on them. Walk past them slower than before

phone the cops and tell them you are being harrassed ,put poop under your windows,talk to their parents,pay some big guy to shut them up (not hurt them),move

police is not a good idea... my friend tried police and its a long awkward process... that leads nowhere : (... i think you should stand up to them =/.. im sure your not a voilent person but to just go over to them, or one alone... ask what his problem is with you... he will look around and grin at his friends for support... try be funny... but inside he will feel like an idiot... =]... ignoring them wont help anything... i wish i could help you =/... because i know how awkward they can make you feel... im 17 but uset to get that same feeling from teenagers at school =]... and i never did anything about it... and regret it in a way =/... im not sure how to help but to hope it will stop might not be very effective =/ goodluck
