Whats the difference between SEXISM and gender DIFFERENCES exactly?

  • Whenever I point out gender differences I'm called SEXIST. But whenever I point out hypocrisy in feminism and show examples of feminist SEXISM I'm told that feminists are just taking gender differences into account! Wah?? Last I checked... feminists claim that the only DIFFERENCES between men and women are physical strength and sexual organs. So.. how is it not SEXIST that over 80% of women still seek out men who are "above" them in one or more of the following ways: -Financial -Education -Status / power -Intelligence Why do women STILL seek out a man with A STABLE JOB? I've never heard a man say he is looking for a woman who is "going somewhere" or "with a stable job" or "who I DON'T HAVE TO SUPPORT". Men still don't mind supporting women. BUT WOMEN HAVE A BIG PROBLEM WITH SUPPORTING MEN. Isn't that sexist?

i think you should take this question over to polls and surveys. you'll find that most men are very concerned about the financial responsibility of the women they date, live with or marry. men want security too.

Why does it really matter? People can be as discriminatory as they want when it comes to looking for partners. It's their own life. If you want a woman to take care of you (so you can be a SAHD, or whatever reason) there are some that will. You just gotta keep on looking, :)

If you are proposing women are bad for picking men with stable jobs, meaning that they are committed, intelligent, loyal, the list goes on. and implying this does not matter to men, who are you really offending? My partner has good earning potential, and so do I. I would not date a man with very poor earning potential because he would be either idiotic or lazy. Idiotic and lazy is not the kind of attributes you can have and expect to be my friend, let alone partner. Pessimism and stupidity are not good conversation fellows. Men who date women who are idiotic or lazy are the stupid ones. Or only out for sex, which isn't worth marrying someone for, sex and sex alone! Men who don't mind supporting women are sexist, if they don't want a wife as an equal, they want her as subservient. Your question IS sexist, but you are obviously of a mindset to which this is difficult to understand. *edit8 there are names fo rpeople who base everything in cave men times. Goes back to cave men times when whomever brought back the big wholly mammoth home had all the rewards(including the girls). So they still find those qualities attractive in men,even as if it apparently makes no sense in the post-industrial world we live in. That's why nice guys still can't get any,even if they did have a lot of money!
