What do women have to GIVE men apart from sex?

I have a question for you. Have you ever been in a long term relationship? Cause if have you would know that the woman is the one who does most of the giving and the man does most of the taking.

Food and clean clothes.

This is hardly philosophical.... But anyway, women give men the same things men give women; love, affection, understanding, someone to be there when we need them...what else matters?

As an equalist I'm surprised you generalised and asked this. It's just a sterotype, a relationship should be about giving and supporting eachother, loving, sharing finances, sharing chores, doign nice thinjgs for eachother, emtoionally supporting eachother.

That men would actually want? That's a tough one. I guess a feeling of security, companionship, family, stability, etc - although I think that really all goes back to sex, directly or indirectly. Most women can't cook for crap. They don't want to pick up after themselves, either, but they expect you to pay for everything. And in most relationships, the sex tails off a lot or disappears completely (unlike the expenses, which increase) but at the same time your every activity is controlled (I'm surprised I've got away w/being on Y/A for this long). So I guess one should say, Caveat Emptor. Beware, and be aware. Women are not anything resembling charities!! The best things in life are very very costly!

Women are not only on the receiving end. They also give. Like love and caring. And if you are thinking in an oldfashioned way: They cook you meals and stuff.

Give them some space and a little time for themselves.

Children would be the main thing... And women are usually good listeners, and more openly emotionally affectionate. Everyone loves to be told how much they're loved. Women can be best-friends, and be supportive as well as nurture talents and help make decisions.
