Why do women get intoxicated faster than men?

Why do men score higher than women on SAT and IQ tests, but less likely to go to college, and get lower grades

• Men on average score higher on SAT exams and IQ tests than women. Men on average . However, men on average have a slightly lower GPA than women, and slightly over 40% of college graduates are male while slightly less than 60% are female. Why is this? I read this has to do with the fact that men are less likely to attend all of their classes, and study less hours than women. Despite higher graduation rates from women, men are more likely to excel in the workforce and get payraises quicker. That doesn't necessarily denote sexism -- what many researchers and employers, including female bosses; have said that men tend to be more aggressive in the workforce when it comes to upward mobility, and tend to ask for raises more often and tend to be more assertive than women. Why do men score higher on placement exams yet less men graduate? Why do more women graduate, but men do better in the workforce (corporate, legal, science, academia, etc.)?

  It used to be that more men went to college than women. Men are typically stronger than women and we need lots of men to do the manual labor. So, some of the men are drawn away from college and into the labor fields. Men score higher on the math section of the SAT; women score higher on the language arts portion. Overall, there are more men top scorers than women. The SAT is an aptitude test and since there are more men in the genius I.Q. range than women, this would explain why more men have top scores (i.e. more merit scholarships). Additionally since fewer men attend college, it would follow that fewer men take the SAT. If the top 40% of men and the top 60% of women take the test, then the bottom 20% of women drag down the average score for women. Women aim to please and to follow the rules so this may explain why women have better grades. Additionally, school may be more relevant to women since more women than men need to use their intelligence to get a job. Men who rely on their brawn don't need to get good grades. There are several reasons why men do better in the workforce. They are more invested in the workforce. They want to have power and money. Women tend to approach life from a more balanced perspective. Many women place their family ahead of their job. Additionally, men in power feel more comfortable promoting men. When my company merged with another company and the employee payroll needed to be reduced, gays, women, jews etc were cut more than that good old Dan Quayle type man.
