Why are people so quick to suggest that people should "dump her/him"?
-
on here people often say that people should dump her/him when they are told about a bad quality of someone else, like being contolling, insecure jealous etc. I'm not talking about highly abusive relationships (although personally i've never seen a elationship where someone isn't slightly "abusive" controlling etc) where the person obviously shouuld leave, but other things. Why why?

Answer:
It's part of the "Everything is disposable" mindset. Nobody wants to put actual effort into anything anymore. They mark off the qualities on their checklist and once they come to a fault....bye bye. Mostly associated with immaturity.

That's the P/C answer to everything today, just leave. It doesn't matter what the circumstances are. Realizing of course only men are abusers, and women are just having a stressful time. Who among us doesn't have insecurities that come out some time? Who hasn't said hurtful things in anger? Today we are all expected to live by some sterile blue print of what we are told from those that only live in Ivory towers. Toss on a couple kids, Two worked to death parents and money problems and see how well they live by what that Fat F*ck Oprah says.

People that say "dump him/her" usually have experienced a similar situation and it turned out poorly. This is advice based on experience. Further, I'd wager most people that post questions about relationships DO NOT follow "dump him/her" advice, rather do the opposite. That is human nature, it seems.

the same reason the divorce rate is so high in this country. Communication, honesty and trust, I believe are the 3 pillars of a relationhip. people aren't taught about relationship etiqute. it takes time and patience. I am not saying stay in a relationship that you aren't happy in. but if its for stupid insecurities, then they can be worked out, if both parties agree.

They are just following the fine feminist tradition of "kick that dog to the curb" for any or no reason. Dominant males are abusive by definition in the feminist world.

Come on now, why should they be told to stay and "work things out" with someone like that? How often does THAT work?
