Why do Feminists Dislike Men with Facial Hair?

    I am a feminist and I hate facial hair! and have never thought to connect the two aspects about myself. I hate it because IMO it looks unattractive, probably hard to clean (men are dirty enough just being men), gets in the way and makes it seem like a man is trying to hide something. Funny side note: I had a boyfriend who tried to grow a beard when he was with me. I told him if he did it he was cut off. He shaved the next day. Just like my feminist nature and my disdain for facial hair are unrelated so are captain obvious's failure with women and the feminist movement. CO can't blame his ugly on feminists.

It depends on what you mean by feminists... I beleive in equal rights for men and women. And I like facial hair. My boyfriend has quite a bit of facial hair. :) After reading responses... Darn, am I in the minority? My mom is the same way and my father had facial hair and body hair. Wow, maybe that's why it doesn't bother me. Am I weird? :)

I haven't necessarily found this to be true in my experience. I personally know a number of feminists who are attracted to men with facial hair.

Feminists are naturally hypervigilant, cautious and yet a bit whimsical. They are not easily taken in by a man with facial hair. They have learned from bitter experience that men have the option of shaving that hair- making then potentially "two-faced".
