BlackBerry Pearl Question?

I just purchased a BlackBerry Pearl. Everytime I try to upload my .mp3 files onto my BlackBerry using the Media Manager, I get a fatal error screen. I have a microSD card in my BlackBerry. So it's not that. How do I transfer music/movies onto my BlackBerry without getting a fatal error message? (Please, no BS responses.)

Answer:
I had the same problem. First, remove your battery and then put it back in. Then try to reload the software, and make sure to get the most recent version.
