South philly!? is it safe!?!?!?

a friend and i found an amazing house in south philly, Gerritt street.is this a safe place to live? we both go to temple university, and have several friends who live in the south philly area. i also lived in north philly for 4 years, and they say it cant get much worse than that. haha

lol i agree that it can't get worse than north philly. If you've lived in noth philly, you'll be fine on gerritt street. On a whole, south street is safe than north philly, although still not one of the safest sections of the city but you'll be fine. Good luck!
