Yes, you will be able to own a nice car with that salary, and a nice house depending on where you live in the country, but most places you would be the richest of the rich. I learned from school that being a business owner instead of working for someone makes more money overall if you are sucessful. to own a business you must be sucessful to make money. You could own a business and make no money or end up losing money. But since you are willing to work for something you should try that because when you are at the top you are not receiving a set salary you can make as much as you want if you do it right.

Yer but what about happiness isant it important to do a job that makes you happy and not just for money you dont have to have tons of stuff or spoilt brat kids but have a job you enjoy that makes good money but you dont have to have a posh car, what for to impress who its just to get approval from people most of the time really i think all of this.

Finance is certainly among the highest-paying, along with medicine and law, and requires the least education of the three. CEO's are really entrepreneurs, and their income is highly uncertain. If the company goes under, CEO is least likely to get any money. In either case, you will need a fair amount of luck to afford a $1M car by 40. On the other side, that car will be something else, and Veyrons will get a lot cheaper.

DO NOT go into anesthesia. You are thinking of the 1970's, when anesthesiologists made a lot. That isn't the case anymore. We don't want you in medicine if you are motivated mostly by money. Try law, finance, or business.
