What in culture in a anthropological way?

• Alright so i'm reading my notes and there's something that my teacher probably missed explaining or I just didn't catch what he said... This is his notes: 1)Culture is the strategy by which humans adapt to the natural environment. 2)Culture is learned, and the process of learning one’s culture begins at birth. 3)Even though culture isn’t genetically determined, the human predisposition to assimilate culture is influenced by genetics. What i dont understand about these notes is the last point... where is says that " the human predisposition to assimilate culture is influenced by genetics" I dont know what he means by thing, and I was wondering if anyone would know, i would appreciate it if someone can explain that part.   Well, this is my limited educated way of perceiving your question. 3. Even though culture isn't racially determined, the human predisposition to assimilate culture is influenced by genetics. I've changed "genetically determined" to "racially determined" because to me one can be of any ethnicity and learn a culture shared by those of a different ethnicity. I believe that we each posses a predisposition (or innate desire if you will) to assimilate into a culture with others because we are social creatures and we readily form and join with groups of other people in whom we see our values reflected. Maybe not saying "racially" is some type of P.C. in your country? I've no idea. It's not offensive (to my knowledge). I hope that helps you.
