Whats a good musical song to use for an audtion?

  • I need a song for a female. a mezzo-soprano. I was thinking defying gravity, but i dont know how hard of a song it is to sing. I want like a song from a newer musical, not like spring awakening though. Like musicals past the 80's, and a pretty song. I cant find any good songs so far, soooo please HELP:), thanks you

    do not choose a song from Broadway (or popular song on the radio) (for the most part) unlessit's a Disney song because you will automatically be compared to what the directors hear on their CD player/ ipod.
