I need serious help on my vocal vibrato.

I need help trynna learn vibrato for violinist?

• Okay well I play the violin, and it's about the time I started learnin vibrato. I keep trying to do it, and I've watched videos on youtube& stuff but when it comes to actually doin it i can never seem to do it. any suggestions? please&&thanks :)

  You use a shoulder rest? If not, get one, get comfy with it. You can start to learn the wide arm vibrato by holding up your violin, and placing your 2nd finger lightly on any string ( D works nice). bend your elbow and bring your whole left hand towards your body remembering to keep your wrist relaxed. Slide your arm up and down the violin neck while keeping the 2 finger on the string. The elbow/wrist movement will get smaller, and eventually you will land in a spot and have the feel of an arm vibrato. Practice practice practice. oh yeah... keep practicing. It's all about muscle memory this early. I would also suggest NOT using your bow when practicing until you get a good feel for the vibrato.
