How to hold the double bass?

If you can play guitar tabs can you play bass tabs. Pretty much right? Because You know where to hold the fret?

    Of course you can play same tabs! A bass is much deeper, has four thick strings, and the strings are a little further than the ones on a guitar. Just practice on stretching your fingers because of different distance. The bass has a much longer neck than a guitar has.

You can if the tab has numbers for the strings... I looked bass tabs up just for fun and it is mixed up strings if it was a guitar...

Yeah, pretty much. Tablature ( TAB) is very simply to understand, and im sure you know that ^^ With guitar you have 6 lines ( resembling strings) with fret numbers on them with Bass u have 4 lines with fret numbers on them. Simples :D

yeh its asacly the same accept that bass has 4 string and guitar has 6 strings. but like the number frets are asacly the same have fun:)

Yep only difference is that on bass tabs there is only 4 strings...obviously.
