What's a good 8 piece drum set?

Whats some really good snare drum sticks, for a middle schooler?

• Im in middle school, and play percussion. I love mallets, and am having a ensemble, and am doing a snare solo, trash can piece, gypsy dance by James Campbell, and Tubz. I really need some good sounding snare drum sticks, also i was gonna save up for a drum set, and whats a really good drum set, and sticks. For drum set sticks, i have 5B Black, from vic firth, and idk what a good drum set it, but not super expensive drum set. Thanks a whole lot, you helped me out!!!!

  For concert, I really like the SD1 Generals. They're pretty light, compared to the marching sticks I use for practice, but kind of heavy compared to the sticks I used to use. But I really like them for ensembles/concert season. Vic Firth is my very very favorite brand of sticks, I absolutely love em. They give you a reference point for your grip (thumb on the TH), and they're good quality, and not usually too expensive.
