How do I get a Singing agent?

How do you get an agent for acting/singing.?

  • Its my dream to be on t.v and have a cd. Do musicals and everything. Its basically everyones dream. I think I have a pretty good shot of being "famous" I live in Houston and its so busy. I feel like I have no chance. Im young so I wanna finish school. But... I want to take a risk for my life. I dont wanna regret what I should of done... no matter what happens. I wanna say " I cant say I didnt try" if it doesnt work out. So... first of all... I have to figure out how and where to find the big part of being "famous" AN AGENT! So... answers please!

Kara T. Your going too fast. The Agent part is when you have the skills.We all have a dream like you want. First thing to do is to learn Stagecraft, and voice production.Have you a local Repertory Theatre? Could you become a member? Learn to act. Is there a Singing teacher you could go to?If you want enough,you need to do these things. Why? Because Kara if it were easy then there would be thousands of "Wanna-bees", making it to the top.An agent won't look at you if you don't have the goods.On top of all those points I make, you need to make your body and face presentable as well. So I would say- take it slowly, do it properly. Good Luck!
