If I would want to become a neonatologist?

I want to become a singer but I don't know what to do?

• I really want to become a singer and walk the red carpet and get my pictures taken. I want to meet GEORGE SAMPSON (sorry I'm obsessed with him), Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, Demi Lavoto, and other people. I think I'm good enough but not that good so I'm might get vocal lessons. But there are some things in the way like: I'M SERIOUSLY TOO SHY and my mom disapproves and thinks that being a singer is bad for you and that they can gossip about you and some people might not like you (I'm especially worried about those things my mom says). But I WANT to become a singer! I'm about to turn thirteen. I'm Asian. I'm a girl. I want to go on America's Got Talent or American Idol or something. My plan B is being a computer engineer. All I want to be is a singer and become famous! I don't know what to do, I'm crying and its all so difficult to me. Do singers make a lot of money? If I do become famous could I meet George Sampson? Is it hard to become a singer? Please help! ♥~Thank you so much~♥

  I hate to say this, but don't listen to your mom because singing is great for you! It's a very great form of music and you're great for wanting to become one! First, get lessons. You will want to find a way to get lessons and find someone to pay for it (or you can do it if you can) because learning how to sing on your own will take a lot (and I mean A LOT) longer than it would take for you to get your own teacher! However, get a vocal training voice. Maybe you'll want to get one of those "Singing for Dummies" books. Read carefully! Try getting one that comes with a CD, too. Maybe if you have friends that know how to sing professionally, ask them to teach you some things. Also, find out what singing category you fall into (soprano, alto, etc). You can find out by finding out what your range is. Remember these three rules: Breath. Tone. Voice. Always remember that! Best of luck to you and have fun! I wish you the best.
