Any suggestions good audition song for a baritone?

Any suggestions for a high baritone looking for musical theater college audition songs?

  • I'm looking for some songs for college auditions coming up. I'm a high baritone (my range is about an A below middle C to a high F# in tenor range. Also a strong falsetto) and so far, I've looked at "Passegiata" form "A Light in the Piazza", "A Bit of Earth" from "The Secret Garden" ... my favorite so far... and "Why Should I Wake Up?" from "Cabaret". Are there any other songs out there that I should be looking at? I need two conflicting songs for all of my auditions. Also, any 1- to 3-minute monologue suggestions would rock too. I'd preferably like song suggestions that I could download and hear on Limewire or something. So, anyway, any suggestions? Thanks!

    Look at Tommy's songs from Brigadoon. "There But For You Go I", "Almost Like Being in Love" and "From This Day On." Also check out Fred/Petruccio's songs from Kiss Me Kate.

By all means you should own at least one volume of The Singer's Musical Theatre Anthology. (There are now 4 volumes.) There are plenty of things in there. Also, do you have a voice teacher? You really should, of course. Nobody can tell you what to sing without hearing you! I recommend this website:
