What are some good audition songs to audition for the musical Company?

Going to my first musical audition, are these good songs?

  • Okay, so I've being doing musicals and stage plays in my community for the past 7-8 years and I have more experience in the commercial side of acting. I'm going to my first musical audition, like equity, and it says they want me to sing 16 bars of two contrasting songs. I'm going to audition for the part of Chava in fiddler of on the roof, so I want to know if these are good songs to audition with.. Forget about the boy - thoroughly modern millie Sun and Moon - Miss Saigon I guess you can say I have more of an alto voice and I feel like these songs show it off

I'm not familiar with "Sun and Moon", but I think "Forget About the Boy" is a decent choice. I would also recommend looking into "Not For the Life of Me" from Millie as well.
