What are some easy songs to play on guitar?

• I'm going to be getting a teacher this week, for acoustic guitar. And I would like to have some songs to learn while he teaches me some basic chords. I really like Taylor Swift songs, Carrie Underwood songs, Miranda Lambert, Sara Evans etc.. I also like a lot of pop songs like Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato etc.. so stuff like that. So any songs that are really easy to play if you could list any that would be great for a beginner that'd be awesome! Also is a Hohner a good guitar for a beginner?

  Umm... no offense, but those are all really good people. You could see if you can get the easy versions of their songs (look under 'beginner' or 'level one'), but I would start off with something WAY easier... like Mary Had a Little Lamb or something like that. I know, it's no fun, but it's the best way to go. Hope I helped!
