Do not make a mistake of Submitting your Original Script/ Screenplay for a Play/ Movie without Copyrighting it, no matter how remote and isolated writer you may be. Cause there may be chances of they not accepting it cause its not Copyrighted, as most of the well known Production Houses prefer to do so, or else some smaller Production Houses who find your Non-Copyrighted work good enough and would like to save some extra $$$, so you know what can be the result. Also before Submitting a Script/ Screenplay write a Synopsis for the same, as the person on the other side would ask for that first before your Script. A Synopsis is a Brief Description of your Plot/ The entire Theme/ Story of your Script. So make it sure that it has that punch and strength in it for th Agent or the Producer/ Director say that, "I only want this, and nothing else". It takes round about 30$-45$ to Copyright both your Synopsis as well as your Script/ Screenplay. But make it sure you Copyright it from the "Writers Guild of America" (http://www.wga.org/), which is a legitimate and much preferred Organisation for Writers Copyrights. Keep in mind, never ever do get disappointed by rejections. You may face them a lot at the beginning if you are not that well known or if they feel that you don't have that thing in your works. But as I said ..... never do get disappointed. Prove it that it was a Lost chance not for you but for the Producers themselves. Have a laugh on this when I say this fact "Madam J. K. Rowling's Harry Potter", was rejected by more than 3-4 publisher's, so you decide who lost the $$$ Fortune one could make out of it.
