How can anyone say that the Holocaust never happened?

Are there people who believed the holocaust never happened?

  • every time when i study the holocaust my history teacher says there are people who don't believe this has happened. i dont understand how people can say this never happened. there is so much evidence, even survivors. i just never understood how ppl could deny this. does anyone know why people dont believe this has happened. i mean its insane, its just as bad as saying something stupid like 9/11 never happened

    Actually, most of the deniers do seem to be "anti-Jew people" from what I have read -- though not all are Nazi apologists. Check out the nizkor website - -that is an organization that combats Holocaust denial, and you will learn who these people are and what some of their claims and techniques are for fooling people more gullible than you are (or more hateful). You can also see answers to the deniers. As mentioned Iran's Ahmedinejad denies the Holocaust took place. I'm afraid many people in the Middle East believe it is false /greatly exaggerated - - they do not learn about it in school, and they hear a lot of hate speech. So it is very valuable that the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum has been translating their web site into Arabic and Farsi. Now they get letters from people in those countries who are shocked and say they did not know before this it was really true. Part of the reason for the Holocaust denial in some Muslim countries, is that, in feeling sympathy for the Palestinan people, they are so used to thinking of Israelis/Jews as powerful and oppressive enemies, that they have a difficult time in believing Jews to have been victimized on so huge a scale and deserving of sympathy.. Also, people like Ahmedinijad may feel like admitting the truth of what happened to the Jewish people in the Holocaust gives some justification for the creation of the state of Israel - -and that he never wants to do.

yes some crackpots say that the us govt and the vatican denied it for a while but dont compare it to 9/11 that was a few thousand but the holocaust was millions

People deny the holocaust becuse they are essentially anti-semitic and racist, and thus can not admit, despite the overwhelming evidence, that people who were also anti-semetic and racist could and would massacre millions because of their prejudices. These people are dangerous because they adopting the same mindset as the Nazis who committed these atrocities.

Unfortunately, there are people who don't believe the Holocaust ever happened. These are the same people who believe that Vietnam should not have happened or that there is no God. I feel bad for some of these people; the Holocaust really did happen. Members of my family were interred in some of those camps. Others lived through the horrors of the Nazi regime. Some living family members and friends still have that infamous serial number burned on their forearms. So for any of your readers that see this question and answer, the people who deny the holocaust aren't necessarily bad people, they just don't see enough of history to believe it. After all, the younger generation is now studying history, but WW II ended 62 years ago. That was before our time! Do you believe everything you see in books? This was a very though provoking question! I hope you are a great student!

They are in denial. Or they are Luciferic Freemasons, New Agers or someone with a globalist agenda that doesn't want the bad reputation of a regime set on world domination casting a bad shadow on what they are doing with global government through the UN New World Order. As the one world government gains power they will eventually be doing the exact same thing to all those who continue to resist and refuse to take the mark of the beast and pledge loyalty to the New World Order anti-Christ system. This seems a recurring question.Many people allege that to gain attention because they simply are unable to express anything else. They never present any evidence of coursesimply because the Holocaust occurred and the evidence is overwhelming. To deny it , is the same as denying that there had ever been a second World War II or that Hitler is alive in a retirement home in Russia.. Weird!. I simply ignore those assertions because rhey emnanate from disturbed people who seek attention.

There are people who are saying our own Govt was behind 9-11. Well same basic idea with the Holocaust. There are those that say it never happened, there are also ones that say the Jews were "behind" it. They claim the Jews faked the whole thing and the evidence is all part of a Conspiracy.
