Who should I start at WR/RB?

Fantasy Football week 2, who to start... Please help!!!?

  • have to start 3, who should I start. Larry Fitzgerald, Roy Williams, Javon Walker and Steve Smith (obvious start) QB who to start. Drew Brees or Donovan McNabbRB who to start, need 2 RB... Ladanian Tomlinson, Brian Westbrook and Willis McGahee Let me know for these 3... Thanks!!

  • Answer:

QB- McNabb. The Bucs have a small, fast defense and are susceptible to the run. Deuce M. runs all over them every time they play. Trust me I live in Tampa, N.O. will be running on them all day. McNabb will light it up in his home opener. RB- LT and Westbrook. LT is a must no matter who he plays. Even though he played the Bears he still had 2 TDs. The eagles offense seems to run through Westbrook and he is heavily involved in the passing game. Again, Eagles will bounce back from last week's debacle and light it up at home. Plus Musa Smith looked pretty damn good spelling McGahee last week and stayed in the game when the Ravens where in the red zone. WR - S. Smith (of course). Larry Fitz and Walker

First I want to know how you got that team, because it's pretty stacked. Was the rest of your league asleep on draft day? Anyway I would start McNabb. He's playing at home, and I think he has the most upside between the two qb's. Plus I like his matchup a little more, and last week he didn't look quite as sloppy as Brees. I'm not saying the Saints were a fluke last year, but Brees looks extremely rusty right now. If I were you I would want to sit him this week and see if he can get things straightened out. For your WR's, I think it's an easy choice. Go with Smith, Walker, and Fitz. Roy Williams is playing against Minnesota, which is by far the toughest defense that your WR's will face this week. Plus, the Lions have been spreading the ball around to a lot of different recievers, so Roy is a much riskier pick than the other three guys on your team. In terms of yardage, he was only the fifth leading reciever on his own team last week! Fitz had a bad game last week, but I think it will be easier for him to bounce back. For your RB, I think it's another clear-cut choice: LT and Westbrook. LT is a must-start every single week, and Westbrook is a yardage machine. McGahee's total yardage will be lower than Westbrook's, and now it looks like he is losing his goalline carries to Musa Smith. To make things worse, the Ravens will be without Jonathan Ogden, so I think their offense could really struggle this year.
