Is Fantasy Football luck or skill?

How much of fantasy football is luck/skill?

  • Answer:

I would say that about 60% of it is skill and 40% luck. It involves skill because you need to look at how good the player(s) have been doing this year and look at their matchups for each week. It is luck because no matter how good the player has done recently, you can not guess how good a player will do from week to week.

Wow...i'm sorry but anyone that sais skill is not correct. I would say AT LEAST 80% luck. I mean, please, leagues are won by season pickups/great drafting. To win in fantasy football, you have to take chances and suffer the reward or the dissapointment. For example, Braylon Edwards has 45 points in a league i'm in Issac Bruce has 56 LT has 80 points Ronnie Brown has 89 EVERYONE drafted Edwards before Bruce and Brown before LT, it's a guessing game that rewards the lucky decision you make. Plus, it's very fun.

I'm suffering from bad luck....half of my team decided to get injured this season :( DAMN YOU Romo, Boldin, Willie Parker, Joseph Addia, Chris Chambers. I have 2 teams that are 6-1 and 2-5.
