Can I transfer to an NCAA division 1/2 school after finishing only 1 semester at an NAIA school as a freshman?
-
this is my first year in college and I have just finished my freshman first semester playing tennis in the NAIA at a high level such that division 1 and 2 schools have been trying to get me play for them. Some people have told me that I need to finish one year at this school, otherwise, I'll have to meet all the requirements that they ask from the high school kids when they want to get cleared by NCAA. I wouldn't want them to get my high school grades because mine were not that good. Which is the reason why I didnt even attempt to go to an NCAA school in the first place. Now that I've finished my first semester,I managed to get good grades and I think I'm good to go, using my college freshman grades. now the other question is, do they still want my high school info and transcripts for me to get cleared by NCAA or they will just need my college transcript for me to transfer? your answers would be greatly appreciated...

Answer:
You might want to ask this question in the higher education (university) section of Y!A, I'm betting that the main contributors there would have the information you need to find out. It might also depend on what school you are thinking of transferring to, obviously each school has different requirements and such for these things.
