How to match the Date in mongodb?

Why did Daniela Hantuchova retire her match against Kimiko Date Krumm?

  • First of all, congratulations to Date Krumm for winning a match on her 40th Birthday. Happy Birthday! But what kind of heartless person would RETIRE from the match that Date Krumm would have rightfully won anyways. I've lost the ounce of respect I had for Hantuchova (Squeakgate, and now this?). It really shows her true colors. You shouldn't retire from a match unless you are crying, and unable to complete (such as Monica Seles getting stabbed, or Wozniacki rolling her ankle in Charleston). By the way, it was 4-0 in the third set, you couldn't have played another two games, really!?

  • Answer:

Well it's kinda unfair to blame everything on Hantuchova. Retiring deep into the next set while a player is losing's pretty common on both tours. I 100% agree with you, however, that it is disrespectful and tactful for a player to retire. I hate to say this...but I was even disappointed when Baghdatis retired against Hewitt at the Australian Open this year :'( They should be honorable in defeat and fight for every point. That's something I admire about Nadal and Federer (Oh and Idk why she retired lol, Sorry!) Some US Open examples of retiring: -1st Rd: Regina Kulikova lost to Anastajia Sevastova 0-6 0-2 r (Who the hell are they!) - 3rd Rd: Sergiy Stakhovsky lost to (23)Felician Lopex 3-6 0-4 r - 3rd Rd: Michael Llodra lost to Tommy Robredo 3-6 7-6 6-4 2-1 r So those are a few examples :P Plus, if players dont retire then they usually give up. Idk which one is worse. Novak Djokovic is a good example lol. This is a lot more common then just retiring And yeah, congrats to Kimiko on her great victory over Sharapova yesterday! Maybe her bday run will be better than Zvonareva's? And I wna give a shout out to Marcos Baghdatis on his 6-1 6-1 victory over Kei Nishikori today! Good job Baghdatis! Hope you beat Giraldo tomorrow XD

i agree..they all have bad tennis days... and hantuchova knows she has seen her best tennis days behind her.. and now she is losing to a player on her 40th birthday...this was all the icing on the cake for her.. but she should have hung in there and kept playing...unless she is totaly dead..or in agony
