What do you know about Spanish imperial eagles?

Does anyone know why the Sportscenter analysts say "Oh happy day" whenever the Phillies or Eagles win?

  • And I don't want to hear answers like, "It's such a rare occurrence when they win that it's a happy day". I could understand that for the Phillies, maybe, but not the Eagles who perennially make the playoffs (lately anyway).

itz becuz some teams are just classic teams like the phillies n' eagles have been around so long that seeing them lose is more common than win... and plus itz funny becuz the eagles juss have so many fans overall... while if they did that to new teams like the texans or marlins it wouldn't make much sense

I guess because we haven't won a championship since the 80's but i hate when they say that because the Eagles are amazing and the Phillies are doing alright. I think they should say it when the Cubs win because they haven't won a world series in over 100 years.
