What and When are the time constraints for bonds?

Does Barry Bonds deserve to be recognized as the all-time Homerun King in MLB?

  • With everybody around him being endited for steroids and his trainer doing time for refusing to testify about Bonds's steroid use; do you think that Balco Barry deserves to de-throne Hank Aaron as the all-time homerun king? And before you say "Well he never failed a steroid test", keep in mind, there are no Steroid tests for HGH and Andro and other designer roids. Giambi who confessed to using Steroids never failed a steroid test. Jose Canseco never failed a steroid test. MARK MCGWIRE never failed a steroid test.

  • Answer:

no because he was on steroids if u are on those ur records should not stand no matter who u are,,

OMG! (takes several deep breaths.) The man was NEVER FOUND GUILTY OF TAKING STEROIDS. IN THE LITTLE COUNTRY I LIKE TO CALL AMERICA, YOU ARE *INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY.* Until I see a Judge say to his face and on National TV, "You're guilty." I will accept him as the all time Home Run king. Like it or not, he is one of the best baseball players in the history of the game. In almost every offensive category Barry Bonds will be somewhere in the top 10 and he will get 3,000 hits next year, further guaranteeing him a spot in the Hall of Fame. He was also a good defensive left fielder. Stop copying what other people say and think for yourself. I'm sick and tired of all this, let the man enjoy what he has earned.

Steroids or no steroids (he never tested positive, btw), the man can still hit. Taking steroids does not guarantee you will be a good hitter. And oh yes my friend, Jose did test positive.

He's hit the most home runs in the history of MLB. Not sure what's so hard to understand about this. .

Just when i thought this question had finally died and gone to answers heaven. Simple answer - is 762 home runs more then 755? Yes. So unless you can change the laws of math and somehow make 762 be less then 755, it doesn't matter one bit what Bonds did or did not do to get those home runs. Simply stated, he has hit more home runs then anyone else in Major League history. You can not change that, regardless of what you feel he did to hit them. Move on.

during the late 60s and early 70s alot of speed aka beaers were going around

NO. Babe Ruth is and will always be the home run KING. Babe Ruth 714 Home Runs 8,398 at bats, he hit a home run every 11.76 at bats or 8.5% of the time, and he did this in an era where ball parks were much bigger. Hank Aron 755 Home Runs 12,364 at bats he hit a home run every 16.38 at bats or 6.1% of the time. Barry Bonds 762 Home Runs 9,847 at bats he hit a home run every 12.92 at bats or 7.7% of the time.

Of course. He did, in fact, hit the most home runs in his career - PERIOD!!!

Yes, he deserves to be the HR king. Steroids isnt better than Speed, cheating is cheating. He will be in the HOF and the HR Champ until some passes him. Get over it
