How To Watch Nesn For Free?

Would you rather watch your team's games on their local channel or on ESPN?

  • If it's the Red Sox playing, I'd just assume watch them on NESN. I know the announcers are biased, but since I'm rooting for the same team as them, it doesn't really matter to me. Plus, I get a pretty big bill for NESN every month, so I like to get my use out of it *lol*

  • Answer:

I would much rather watch my team on their local channel than ESPN, most of the time I can't stand what they are talking about or they sometimes are misinformed on things going on with teams. I like the bias myself, I am routing for my team, I don't really care to hear about how great the other team is.

Since I moved to Florida I don't have access to the YES channel anymore. For whatever reason I get all the Cubs, White Sox and Tampa Bay games. If I want to see the Yankees I either have to travel to St. Pete when they play the Rays or watch them on the local Rays and White Sox stations when they play them. Lastly ESPN. I really do not like watching baseball on ESPN because first, Joe Morgan drives me crazy as well as Steve Phillips who may just be the worse baseball analysis I've ever seen.

I prefer the YES network, simply because they know the Yankees better than other annoucers. On ESPN, they generally are very basic in their analysis, because they have to make sure everyone in the country knows what they're talking about. On local channels, we don't have that problem as much, and there are a lot more interesting talk and information about the local teams.

I prefer watching my team on their local channel bacause I know it will be Vin Scully announcing the game. I absolutely hate watching their games when they're aired on ESPN. I can't stand their biased announcers.

I really enjoy watching my team on ESPN because i can always watch them on the local channel but this is from a national point of view. Plus it is usually big games and important games like Mets v. Yankees. FOX is also very enjoyable to watch.

i would rather watch fox sports Detroit with Mario impemba and rod Allen than ESPN guys

I always go for the local channels cuz the announcers are the team announcers so they know more about the team and they can make better analysis about the players.

Local...because of Vin Scully.

I would rather watch them on FSN North than ESPN. I can not stand the ESPN guys, they don't know how to announce at all. Dick and Bert are hilarious to listen to also. Sure they are a bit biased, but that's alright since I'm a Twins fan, and Bert was a Twin, so of course he would be, too. They make games interesting and fun, even if the Twins are stinking that day. They also really get into the games. It is pretty funny when something big happens and they get really excited. The ESPN announcers barely say anything nice about the Twins when we are playing on ESPN that game, so I just turn it on mute, and turn on the radio so I can listen to John Gordon and the dazzleman, Dan Gladden. Thank goodness the Twins aren't a big named team so they don't have alot of games on ESPN, or I might just have gone crazy.

Serena is a Twins fan!

I like to watch the Braves on TBS but I'm afraid they will lower the amount of games this season due to their National coverage. It's great to see them on ESPN though.
