Hey guys... what do u think about the pink bats in today's baseball game game?

  • what is your opinion on the pink bats used in today's game honoring breast cancer awareness? is it that big of a deal? i want to know your opinion one way or another

    I was at the Cubs vs. Padres game today which all the cubs used them and most of the padres did, and i thought that it was a neat idea. They all wore pink arm bands and breast cancer survivors sang the national anthem. It was a nice touch for the MLB to do since baseball is the sport that more women watch than any other. I liked the idea.

I think it is wonderful that the MLB is supporting the Breast Cancer Awareness week. It just shows that the MLB is supporting all of the women out there that has or had breast cancer. I have a family member that had breast cancer in the past and to this day she is doing fine. Any kind of cancer is not to be messed around with at all.

I don't know if it's a big deal or not, but it's definitely a good thing to bring attention to breast cancer awareness. And to be honest, the way MLB has shot itself in the foot on so many issues over the last several years, it's good that they got something right for a change.

I think that is wonderful. Many women are affected by breast cancer including my mother. I think that heart disease should be addressed also.
