What is it inside terrorists that drives them to such extreme lengths to kill and maim Innocent people?

  What drives them to do all this? Well this is a very controversial issue and there are number of reasons that drive to one being a terrorists, I spent a considerable amount of time to extend my research up to a further analysis on their life and as vague as it may sound, I found out its not religion that drives them to become terrorist, its the world. I read several articles on the life of terrorist and as the more I indulged into curiosity, the more research I did. We simplify terrorists simply as nuts or maniacs because we don’t have an understanding of their values, lives and emotions; they are after all normal human beings that came into this world just like the rest of us. Now everyone has different perspectives and I respect that but when we say "The person blew him/her self up". We don't think what made the "Terrorist" do that, we say f*** that piece of S*** and its over, now let me give an example, if you were to choose your way of death, what would you choose? I can say definitely that blowing yourself up won't be a topper in you list. Now we come back to my question, what drives them to this insanity? Answer: Injustice. Look at the Middle East, it’s more like a training ground for troops. Bloodshed every where. women, children, the old and the young are dying alike in this so called war on terrorism, Now why not war on poverty? War on injustice? Why not war against HIV and other pressing issues? I believe when a person has no way out (e.g. in Palestine) and all the ones he/she loved are dead and there is no justice, then there is only one thing on a person's mind and that is "Revenge". Once you become an avenger and you are in an environment where every person is for him/her self, the thirst for revenge drives you to do "terrorist activities". I could go on for a couple of more points but now I have to get back to work :) My answer is not to support terrorist(s) but to eliminate the causes for one becoming a terrorist. Every where I saw no one had appropriate or an biased reason concerning your question and many other questions like yours, People end it with "Because they are _______" I thought why not look at the reasons.
