no it is 0 degrees C, but it is possible to "super cool water" to - 2 degrees C which freeze on warning. or if disturbed. Also you can do this with boiling water in a microwave Warning this is dangerous "super heating" using distilled/degassed/deionized water in a new glass control a scratched glass Check out supercritical states

hey the best experiment is "super cooling water" way cool and it actually works okay so take pure clean water fuji water bottles work the best since its the cleanest next just put the water bottle in the freezer for like 2 hours then take it out carefully and it should still be water then hit it against something and it will instantly turn to ice the reason it does this is because it is so clean when u freeze it it wont freeze because there are no nucleus's to freeze around but when u disturb it it will turn to ice instantly or u can open it and pour it on ice and it will turn to slush on top of the ice AWESOME

0 celsius is just defined as the freezing point of water -- although even though this isn't *entirely* accurate, the kind of water (pure or otherwise) doesn't seem to make a different, or so says wikipedia:
Clare
A very pure is also as H20... So, its freezing point will still be at 0 degree C
Ralph
0 degree celcius
Kirjava
32 degree F
