The mass of one mole of an element from the periodic table is the same number as...what does that mean?
-
'The mass of one mole of an element from the periodic table is the same number as the atomic mass except it is expressed in grams.' thats the answer that i got for one of my questions, but what does that mean? so you just look at the atomic mass on the periodic table and that equals one mole? gahhhh chemistry is so confusingg this is the question: what is the mass of one mole of xenon? [mass of xenon is 131.29]
-
Answer:
Exactly, it simply means 1 mole of an element is equal to the mass in grams. On the periodic table it shows the atomic mass number to the upper left of the symbol. So one mole of Xenon is indeed equal to 131.29g
