What is the importance of molar concentration and what does it do?
-
Answer:
A molar concentration tells you how many moles of a substance are in a liter of solution. It's just one way to tell how much "stuff" there is in a certain volume. There are other ways of conveying concentration (molal, parts per million, weight percent, volume percent, ...) but molar is the one generally used in chemistry coarses and a lot of biology uses it too.
