How can I get more hair on my chest?

  • I just turned 16 and there still isn't any hair on my chest and I'm getting annoyed. I was reading through some answers before I asked this, and some people said that if...shave...your...chest...that hair would grow back better...I don't get it. Why would you risk it? I have a feeling I might not get a lot of hair on my chest, simply because it would probably be my luck, what can I do to get more. I know that puberty isn't really over for most guys till like 21, but even when it finishes, how could I get more hair, ignore the fact that I'm 16. (wow this is an embarrasing question)

    I got crap from people in high school (in the locker room before and after P.E.) for not having hairy arms. With me, it just took time. I'm almost 30 now and still have hair popping up in new places. Just relax about it, because you can't control it.

Not all males have chest hair......wait till you are some 20 to25 years. It may grow. Even if it didnt, please dont take any medicine/ hormone coz, it may have critical side effects (like steroids can cause serious growth/ mental/ nervous disorders). Your case is NO PROBLEM at all.... There are some kind of Ayurvedic oils that can be applied on the chest, etc, which stimulates hair growth. Look out for those. Look for good Indian Ayurvedic external oils. Please dont panic at all, coz this is no problem..

Personally I don't want chest hair, I'm 16 and I don't have much of it. There really isn't much you can do to make it grow.

The amount of hair on your chest is determined by genetics. Does your dad have a hairy chest? Give yourself more time, you are only 16. Don't ever feel embarrassed for asking questions about your body. It is a natural thing. Also, there are a lot of women out there who don't like men with hairy chests. I hope this helps.
