What are growth hormones?

What would be the maximum possible growth I could achieve when taking growth hormones at age 17?

  • Hey guys, I was recently diagnose with Growth Hormone Deficiency. I'm currently age 17 at a height of 5' 5". My father is 5' 11" and my mom is 5' 0". I know that I'm really late in puberty, but I've read that growth hormone injections can increase your height by two or five times the average rate. I turn 18 in 4 months. I will also be taking a medication called "LUPRON-DEPOT" that will slow down my puberty and the fusion of my growth plates so that the growth hormone would have more time to work? How much would the maximum potential growth for me be at this age?

  • Answer:

Nobody knows, Bubba! Genetics will be the final determining factor.
