How do i make my beard not all wild?

Okay well im growing a beard and it hasn't ever been cut and its only just finished the sideburns now and like there are some hairs that just stick out. how can i make it so that they stick to my face? i tried water but it only helped a little I cant use any trimming or any beard products, but i have like regular shampoo and conditioner?

Answer:
they will stick out until they get long enough to lay down. just let them grow and when they get to a certain length they will start to lay down. i use to have a beard.
