How To Avoid Recaptcha?

How to avoid thickening of the bladder due to BHP but also avoid surgery?

  • The thickened bladder came as unavoidable result of BHP and I assume it is irreversible, it then should lead to increased frequency of urination. I understand that one way to do it is to have early surgery to reduce the size of prostate but it has risks. So, it would be nice to take preventive action to avoid such problem. Are there ways to avoid the problem?

  • Answer:

More than half of all men will eventually develop BPH (not BHP). If you know that your thickened bladder was the result of BPH, you could only know that if your doctor had discovered that fact and told you about it. He or she would have immediately followed that information with an explanation of what BPH is and of the various treatment options if and when they become advisable. There are several reliable medications that can help, but they are only available by prescription. Herbalists will tell you that such things as saw palmetto are satisfactory substitutes for the prescription drugs, but that simply isn't so. Careful studies have attempted to prove that saw palmetto and other herbal remedies are effective, and there's simply no evidence that they are. So see your doctor again and have him/her go over the probable complications of untreated BPH as well as the varied options for treatment. Surgery may not be necessary, or it may eventually become advisable. Only you and your doctor can decide that issue. Good luck.
