If you have shoulder pain can you still train?
-
Whilst doing front lateral raise I felt a pain between my shoulder and my upper arm. After resting 3 days the pain is intensified. Can I still train? If so what do you recommend I do Thanks

Answer:
I had a similar problem a few months ago doing the shoulder press at the gym. I went to my GP and they told me to get ibuprofen and some paracetemol to take the swelling down and stop the pain somewhat. As far as training goes, Id stop. There are exercises you can do, an hour a day, to loosen the joint. Try raising your arm out in front of you slowly, and work it around in a circular fashion, up over your head and behind you until you complete a full circle. I would strongly advise staying away from all training in that area and go to see ur GP. If you feel the burning desire to train, stick to cardio. My shoulder took 3 weeks to heal.
