What country is the last name "Cesin" from?

How many agree to change the name of our country 'Turkey' to"Anatoila"?

  • because it is nonsense since 1921. We have Kurds as well. They are not Turks, They are Kurds and also they have 19'000'000 population. So How we can name a country to just 'Turks' and not to 'Kurds'. Suppose the country was in hand of Kurds and they named it "Kurdie" instead of "Turkie", How would we turks feel about that? Would we accept that? .....Of course not,...So How we could ask Kurds to accept that we name our country to 'Turkie'? See...Feel what I'm saying... we should consider all people as well, So it is better we name it "Anatolia". It is a country not just for us(turks) but For Kurds as well. So I ''ll do it as soon as I become the Preident of Our country to Create a peace between Kurds and us(Turks).

    I think that Anatolia is a fine name. If I had a vote, you would get it. Meanwhile, the name "Turks" will be perpetuated in the Turks and Caicos Islands.

You fail to mention the other indigenous peoples of Turkey, the Rums, the Alevis, the Cerkez, so many other as well as many mixtures, Turkey is just a name, Anatolia is just a name... we should revert the time, energy and money to do what I consider an unnecesarry un-influencing act like that into bridges the gaps between these people. Why don't we change the name America to something else, it wasn't really discovered by Amerigo Vespucci and there were indigenous people here before the Europeans....you see it goes on and on, I respectfully disagree with your statement.
