"Stand" By Rascal Flatts. On July 2nd I was diagnosed with a large DVT that runs from my knee to my abdomen. I laid there until July 5th before I was allowed to get up and walk a lot because they were waiting for the Lovenox injections & coumadin to kick in. I was feeling bad for myself the whole time- I mean how could an otherwise healthy 20 year old be on a walker and have such a serious blood clot? This song came on the tv and it was an inspiration to me. The chorus inspired me to fight it and know that I had to be strong and work my way through. It says, "When push turns to shove, you taste what you're made of, you may bend til you break cause it's all you can take, on your knees you look up, decide you've had enough. You get mad, you get strong, wipe your hands, shake it off. Then you stand....Life's like a novel with the end ripped out..." That was the part of the song that really helped me out. It describes everything i'm going through...and will be going through for awhile.

the song that describes my life right now is by a band that I bet very few have heard of, they aren't that big yet. the song is called "Sand Castles" and it's by Popple (their website is popple.us) and this song describes my life because lately I have been enjoying the beauty of nature more than I have in the past, and as the song says "Every night I cant wait for the morning, I cant wait for another sunny day, and when I see the beauty of creation; it sends me away in anticipation; a beach at rest in perfect harmony, with my soul that's where I long to be"
